Hoover Earns Endorsement From Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
Folsom, Calif. - - Today Josh Hoover announced receiving the endorsement of the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SHCC PAC) in his campaign for reelection to the 7th Assembly District. Since being elected in 2022, Assemblyman Josh Hoover has been an advocate for the area’s businesses in the face of a challenging economic climate, as well as a strong supporter of diversity in business ownership.
"Josh Hoover is not only a friend to Hispanic businesses, but a champion to all small businesses," said Marcus Gomez, the Chair of the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce PAC. “Josh’s proven track record and work in the Assembly is needed to advance the economic growth of our region.”
In addition to the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce PAC, Hoover has been endorsed by other small business advocates in the region including the Folsom Chamber of Commerce JobsPAC and National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB).
“Jobs and economic opportunity are the key to upward mobility,” said Hoover. “During these fragile economic times, it is important to support our region’s job creators, listen to their needs, and fight for policies that help our small businesses thrive. As the Vice Chair of the Assembly Committee on Jobs, Economic Development, and the Economy, too often I see policies proposed that are hostile to these goals. I am grateful for the support of the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as we partner together to fix our business climate in California and spur economic growth.”
Hoover was elected to the State Assembly in 2022 to represent the voters of California’s 7th Assembly District in one of the most competitive elections in the state, encompassing the northeastern part of Sacramento County.
In the March 2024 Statewide Primary Election, Assemblyman Hoover led his nearest competitor by 23 percentage points.
