Breaking: Hoover Announces Two Major Endorsements in Assembly Campaign

Folsom, Calif. -- Today, Josh Hoover announced the endorsement of former State Assemblywoman Beth Gaines and current District 1 Board of Equalization Member Ted Gaines, the highest-ranking Republican official in California. This is a key endorsement in this Assembly campaign as both have long represented portions of the district. 

"Josh Hoover will be an excellent voice to have in the Assembly," said Board of Equalization Member Ted Gaines and former Assemblywoman Beth Gaines. "His policy background working at the State Capitol, as well as his time on the Folsom Cordova Unified School District Board of Education, makes him the best choice to represent us. He will fight to improve public safety, advocate for families, and help students recover from the learning loss that school closures caused throughout the pandemic. That is why Josh Hoover gets our support." 

Josh earned a Bachelor’s Degree in political science and public policy from UCLA and a Master’s Degree in public administration from USC. He lives in Folsom with his wife Nicole and their three children. 

The newly drawn 7th Assembly District includes the communities of Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, Folsom, Foothill Farms, Gold River, North Highlands, Orangevale, Rancho Cordova, and Rosemont.
