MAJOR ENDORSEMENT ALERT: The Sacramento County Republican Party Endorses Josh Hoover for State Assembly

Folsom, Calif. -- Today Republican school board member, Josh Hoover, announced receiving the pre-primary endorsement of the Sacramento County Republican Party in his campaign for the new 7th Assembly District.

The endorsement is key because the 7th Assembly District is entirely nested in Sacramento County and clears the path for Hoover to become the nominee for the Republican Party in the election.

“The policies of this legislature are hurting Californians. Students are suffering the greatest learning loss since the great depression all while the politicians at the capitol are considering $160 billion in new taxes. We deserve better,” said Hoover. “It’s safe to say our government is not putting hard-working families first and that’s why I’m running. I’m honored that the Sacramento County Republican Party unanimously supports me to win this assembly seat and fight for the people of this district.”

“The Sacramento County Republican Party is pleased to endorse Josh Hoover to serve in the 7th Assembly District,” said Chair Betsy Mahan. “The 2022 Election will provide voters with an opportunity to change the direction of California policies to reduce taxes, control spending, bring back public safety, improve public education and support parental rights. Sacramento voters are tiring of liberal politicians who have proven they are unable to solve problems. Josh is the leader we need to take back California.”

The newly drawn 7th Assembly District includes the communities of Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, Folsom, Foothill Farms, Gold River, North Highlands, Orangevale, Rancho Cordova, and Rosemont.
