Folsom, Calif. -- Today, Josh Hoover announced that he has received the endorsement of the California Republican Party in his campaign for Assembly District 7. The endorsement follows the announcement that Hoover was endorsed by the Sacramento County Republican Party. The newly drawn 7th Assembly District is entirely nested within Sacramento County.  “Under current leadership, California continues to trend in the wrong direction. Crime is on the rise, our education system is failing kids, and Sacramento politicians continue to pass policies that make it harder for families and small businesses to thrive. It’s time to chart a new course by restoring accountability in our criminal justice system, putting the needs of students over special interests, and reviving the California Dream. That’s what I intend to fight for in the State Assembly and I am thankful to have the support of the California Republican Party in this race,” said Josh Hoover.  Josh currently serves as a School Board Member for the Folsom Cordova School Unified School District. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in political science and public policy from UCLA and a Master’s Degree in public administration from USC.
